What is POA worth? How to read its first dollar price

POAScan now shows dollar estimates for POA. Here is the trade evidence behind them, what the supply values mean, and why a displayed price is not a guaranteed sale.

What price does POAScan show?

At its October 21, 2026, 23:30 UTC observation, POAScan reported a rounded reference of about $11 per million POA, or $0.000011 for one POA. It listed one fill and about $0.11 of volume over the preceding seven days. These are dated observations from the explorer’s public API, not a promise that the same figures apply when you read this article.

The recorded exchange rate was 0.1 SOL per million POA. Our earlier first-swap report describes the actual test size: 10,000 gross POA for 0.001 SOL. Quoting a rate per million makes small prices easier to compare; it does not mean someone traded one million tokens.

Where do the dollar amounts come from?

The conversion connects two different things: an exchange rate between POA and the payment asset, and a dollar reference for that payment asset. If the SOL-to-dollar input changes, the displayed dollar estimate can change even when the recorded POA-to-SOL trade has not. That is why a price update alone should not be described as a fresh POA trade.

POAScan publishes its calculation rules and marks this observation as a thin market. SearchPoA carries that label, the fill count and the observation time beside the estimates. Readers can inspect the original data rather than having to infer the strength of the evidence from a large dollar figure.

Why are there two supply values?

At the same observation, POAScan’s estimated circulating value was approximately $860, while the value attributed to all mined supply was approximately $14,000. The difference is chiefly about which tokens are included. The provider’s circulating estimate uses its unlock model; the mined total includes locked rewards.

A useful comparison must keep that denominator consistent. Multiplying a reference price by a wider supply produces a larger total without creating additional buyers or transactions. Neither total measures money deposited into the network, and neither tells you how much every holder could receive by selling.

Can you sell your POA for that amount?

The public numbers do not answer that question. A past fill establishes that a particular exchange was recorded; it does not establish a standing buyer, order-book depth or the outcome of another trade. The observed POAScan response still described its swap interface as coming soon.

An asking price is also different from a completed trade. Someone can propose terms without another participant accepting them. When comparing a new listing with an old fill, keep the asset, amount, time and execution status visible.

SearchPoA will follow additional completed fills and meaningful changes to product availability. The most useful next evidence would show more than a changing headline price: actual transaction sizes, repeated activity and clear source coverage.
