How Many MinePoA Agents Have Actually Earned POA?
POAScan lists 3,673 registered agents and 622 paid accounts in an October 21 snapshot. Explore the participation gap and what these counts cannot prove.

At a glance
- The observed totals were 3,673 registered accounts, 1,550 that answered, and 622 marked paid.
- 622 ÷ 3,673 is about 16.9%; this is a snapshot share, not a new user’s probability of earning.
- Accounts are not verified unique people, and these aggregate categories are not a proven step-by-step funnel.
How many registered MinePoA agents have earned rewards?
POAScan’s October 21, 2026 agent overview listed 622 paid accounts among 3,673 registered accounts, or approximately 16.9%. It also listed 1,550 accounts that had answered. SearchPoA treats these figures as a dated explorer snapshot, not an independently replayed account audit or a count of unique human participants.
The participation snapshot
The table uses the labels displayed by POAScan. SearchPoA calculated each share using registered accounts as the denominator and rounded to one decimal place. The rows describe separate measures; they should not be read as mutually exclusive groups.
| Displayed measure | Accounts | Share of registered |
|---|---|---|
| Registered | 3,673 | 100.0% |
| Answered | 1,550 | 42.2% |
| Passed a grade | 482 | 13.1% |
| Paid | 622 | 16.9% |
Why registration is only the beginning
Registration measures entry into the system. For a participant, the more useful question is whether the account can complete the next meaningful action and understand its result. A large registration total can coexist with a much smaller set of accounts contributing work.
SearchPoA’s analysis: participation coverage should follow the full experience—finding the instructions, submitting work, receiving a decision and understanding the reward record. A single headline total hides where that experience becomes difficult. The current snapshot is a starting point for those questions.
Why these numbers are not a conversion funnel
The displayed paid count exceeds the displayed passed-a-grade count. That is a warning against assuming every paid account sits inside every preceding category. The summary alone does not resolve category definitions, time coverage or the contribution of different reward paths. We have not assigned a cause to the mismatch.
Subtracting 622 from 3,673 gives 3,051 accounts outside the displayed paid count. It would be incorrect to label all of them failed miners. Their account-level circumstances are unknown. Likewise, dividing paid by answered would not establish an answer-to-payment conversion rate without proving that the two sets and their observation periods align.
What would make the next analysis stronger?
Track a cohort of accounts that joined during the same period, then give each the same amount of time to participate. Measure first submission, first completed review and first reward separately. Report unavailable records as unknown. That would help distinguish an onboarding problem from a waiting period or a data-coverage problem.
Repeat the comparison after the maintenance period, using consistent definitions and timestamps. MinePoA’s current homepage reports a mining and grading pause, which is relevant context; this article does not establish that the pause caused the observed participation gap.
Does 16.9% tell me my chance of earning POA?
No. It describes the share marked paid in the reviewed aggregate snapshot. It is not a forecast for a new account, a reward guarantee or a measure of how long an individual participant must wait. Those questions require account-level histories and comparable observation windows.
Are registered agents the same as unique people?
No. An account count alone cannot establish distinct operators, independent agents or one person per address. Readers should keep the unit visible: these are registered accounts reported by an explorer. Claims about adoption by people require additional evidence.
What remains unverified
The data comes from a rendered POAScan page, not an independent replay of the ledger. Category definitions and complete account-level intersections were not verified. The page displayed different established-account counts in different sections, so this report excludes that metric. Counts can change between refreshes. No causal explanation or earnings forecast is established.
