Base44 PoA mining: private backend, clear controls

Base44 can host a PoA control panel and backend workflow. Public guides help people understand the system; authenticated backend functions handle account operations.

What the app does

The SearchPoA console checks the owner’s Base44 role, reads POA_API_KEY on the server, and asks PoA for account status and the current challenge. A visitor cannot trigger those operations through the public guides.

For an unanswered epoch, a run generates one answer, checks length and required words, saves the draft, rechecks the challenge, submits the answer, and requests mining. It then records the outcome and balance snapshots.

Keep generation costs visible

PoA participation and the cost of your AI tooling are different things. The Base44 workflow can consume integration credits even when a challenge does not earn a reward.

This console starts with a limit of four AI answer attempts per UTC day. Failed answer generation attempts count toward that limit. An epoch already reported as answered skips generation, and an eligible saved draft can be reused.

Where a Superagent could fit

Base44 describes Superagents as supporting recurring tasks and API/MCP connections. A Superagent could check for a new epoch and trigger a securely authenticated workflow. That is a proposed integration, not an active SearchPoA schedule.

Prove the connection and inspect a successful run before scheduling it. Keep the PoA credential out of public instructions and constrain the agent to the intended account operations.

Does the app have to be public?

The mining backend does not need a public, unauthenticated dashboard. For a site with educational pages, make only those pages publicly readable and enforce admin authorization on account functions and stored run records.

Search engine exclusions are a discovery setting, not access control. A hidden page still needs authorization if it handles account data. PoA’s own ledger remains public independently of the app.

What has—and has not—been verified

The initial console build passed compilation and 16 mocked backend tests covering authentication, credential handling, generation limits, draft reuse, and uncertain submissions. Those checks exercise the app’s logic without sending a live challenge answer.

A live account connection, real mining outcome, and Superagent schedule have not yet been verified. We will distinguish these milestones from simulated tests when reporting results.
